Finalists in “Best New Design and Packaging” at the Pure Beauty Awards 2020

These awards are fiercely contested each year, so to have been selected as a finalist in this category is an achievement in itself.

Our card construction for Pai Skincare’s ‘Back to Life Hydration Hit’ set is an innovative design that showcases the products beautifully (and in the order in which they are to be used by the consumer) and, at the same time, removes all plastic from the secondary packaging, making the gift packaging fully recyclable.

Not only have we presented the products without the traditional vac form tray that would normally be used for a set like this, we have not replaced the tray with an additional card fitment. Instead, we have used the channels of the tray to hold and locate the products thereby reducing the amount of packaging used overall.

The packaging is printed using water based inks and varnishes to best show the soft, natural colours of the design.

Voting begins on the 3rd September and votes can be submitted by visiting the Pure Beauty Awards and selecting option 9 on the BEST NEW DESIGN AND PACKAGING section.
